I've posted a Google doc with our FAQ:

https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Y_AYgYrVQq61tVHlXPjyUJNNTgI1hTEEORIR9Keg0OM/edit?hl=en&authkey=COCE1v4H

If people have time, I would be very grateful for an interlinear
translation (translate each paragraph below the English text). Once
it's done I'll format it and put it up on the site.

We have about 50 people now using Pinboard in Japanese. So exciting!

I do not use by myself yet (I have plan to use for my forum software), how about using Google Translation Toolkit ?
Using Translation Memory may rise efficiency.

Wow, I hadn't heard of this.  That seems pretty cool, I'm going to have to test this out for use in one of the bilingual sites I administer for work.

I had not heard of this either. Thank you for the pointer, Tetsu!

I wonder whether Google's en->jp auto-translation is as awful as the
jp->en? The tool seems to use machine translation as a starting
point.

You may check following standalone tools too.

I wonder whether Google's en->jp auto-translation is as awful as the
jp->en?
I do not know about high-end systems, but generally, machine translations for en->jp is still terrible including Google's one.
