Good morning,

I saw a post from December 2010 suggesting a keyboard shortcut to add
a bookmark, and you said you'd add it to the queue. Any progress on
this? I add several bookmarks a day.

Thanks

I did indeed keep my word and add it to the queue.

Unfortunately it's a mighty long queue at this point...

Speaking of your queue, a request withdrawn (at least as it affects
me; also my final cross-post from Saturday's tweets, which seem to
have gone into the ether):

@Pinboard BTW, discovered the one-key access (b) to bulk edit after we
discussed bulk edit's non-stickiness. No longer an issue for me.

Best,
M.

Just noticed this older thread today. The FirePin extension provides a
(non-configurable) shortcut key, which replaces the Firefox default
"add a bookmark." It also seems to make use of different code than the
"official" Pinboard extension with respect to the popup window,
something to do with autocomplete and the tag cloud, though I can't
remember the specifics. I have too many tags for the cloud to be
useful, so I usually use the plain "popup" bookmarklet anyway.

I am not the author of this extension, but it has worked well for me.

I love using Delibar on my macs. Easy editing/saving of bookmarks and
searching as well, all from keyboard commands. I use it all the time.
My only complaint is that my existing tag list is only accessible on
Delibar as part of the auto-complete when you're typing in a tag and
it comes up in the hits of the search.
