1) Any plans to include tag bundles with the Pinboard API specs?

2) Any plans to further develop the tag bundle features or interface?
It's a great start, especially for version 1.0, but could use a little
love. For example, being able to sort the tag bundle lists
alphabetically would be great (instead of requiring manual inserting
numbers)

Perhaps my personal coders/developers can find a way to hack more
control of the PinBoard bundles. But this day and age, with so many
bookmarks coming our way, tag bundles are mission critical for us.
Pinboard is so elegant managing tags. it would be GREAT to achieve a
similar level of perfection for managing tag bundles!

Sincerely,
Pinboard Customer for Life.

Yes, they will be part of the v2 API I'm working on right now.

I'll put up a discussion thread for what people would like to see in bundles.  I also need to spend a little time analyzing how people are actually using them now. I'm certainly open to ideas for improving the feature.

Be aware that people like me who aren’t using them right, because they
can’t, will slip through the cracks in such an analysis.

(When bookmarking, I’d like to consider as many of my existing tags
as I can. But without being able to filter my tags by bundle in the
bookmarklet UI, I have to scan every last one of my tags. That’s too
much effort, so currently I hardly tag at all. And so I hardly even
bookmark…)

Any word on this? Having access to Tag Bundles in the API would be nirvana for our college level research projects and student resources.

Here is an example of how we use the Pinboard API with custom extensions developed for MediaWiki (http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/MediaWiki).

If we could access Bundles with the API, would save huge amounts of time (and really allow us to expand the database of bookmarks)

Maciej, if a donation could help you allocate time required to get Bundles working with the API, please contact me directly. We have been close to jumping ship and developing our own bookmarking system (like this guy did: http://links.thingelstad.com/wiki/links_thing:About) but we feel Pinboard has advantages worth waiting for.
