I can't reproduce the problem with a fresh profile and TenFourFox
(re-branded FFx 10.0.1 for PowerPC) on Mac OS 10.5. I may have been
installing it out of habit because the Ctrl + D shortcut doesn't work
on
another platform (Windows, Linux), or it didn't work quite right with
an
earlier version of the official Pinboard.in extension, or else I had a
conflicting extension somewhere.
So, whatever the issue was before, it definitely seems to work out of
the
box now on Mac OS X. I'll check on Windows and Linux and follow up
here.
However, I distinctly recall the shortcut key not working somewhere,
at
some point in time. This may have all been fixed with the 1.2 version
of
the Pinboard extension, dunno. I just ASSumed it wasn't. Sorry.

P.S.: In case you're interested, current releases of Firefox are still
available for PowerPC architecture as an unofficial build called
"TenFourFox":
http://www.floodgap.com/software/tenfourfox/
Plugins aren't supported with this version of Firefox, but then again,
Flash isn't supported on PPC anymore anyway, and the last available
version for PPC supposedly has numerous unpatched vulnerabilities.
Memory usage, speed, and stability are more tolerable for me on this
PowerBook G4 using TenFourFox than what I was experiencing with the
"official" 3.2.x series, so I've stuck with TenFourFox since
4.0.something.
Hope this helps.
