I've searched around here and there, but can't find anything.

Does anyone know how I can Hide the Description and Tags?

This isn't a feature on the site but you can do with a Greasemonkey script: http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/75422

Thanks, but that wouldn't work for me. I only need to display recent
headlines for a single tag on a website I manage.

I burned the tag-feed with Feedburner, then used their javascript
widget. I'd rather not have the Feedburner logo, but that's the price
of fame.

It should be trivial to do with CSS - just set the description and tag
style to be invisible.

That's a great idea, but I don't have access to the stylesheet.

(I'm managing a website for a client, but I don't have admin privilege
in the CMS)
