I'll probably be extending symposion over the next few months, so I'd like to see a list of current features and features you'd like to build in so I can get started :)

I have a few ideas of my own also, but would like to see the feature-list before incorporating any of my ideas :)

Thanks,

Alec Taylor

Just as a short heads-up until such a TODO list is made (which it
hopefully will ;-)):

PyConDE's proposal system has now been in use for about a month and I
still try to contribute it back if there is interest. The pull request
in its current state is still work in progress and I will try to get
to updating it within the next two weeks.

We also now have a review system based on our proposals app which went
live last night.

Cheers,
Horst

The focus at the moment is on getting PyCon 2013 up and improving
symposion along the way.

Because of the PyCon 2013 timeline requirements, we are focused at the
moment on basic content management, the pycon-specific sponsorship app
and speaker submissions. Work is being done under eldarion/pycon (2013
branch) at the moment, but all except the pycon-specific sponsorship
app will be pushed back to symposion in the coming weeks.

Review and scheduling will follow. These largely exist already under
eldarion/pycon (2012 branch) but we'll be updating them for PyCon 2013
and for more general use in symposion as we go.

Hope this helps!

James

The stuff that really suxx about PyCon sites is that there are no videos on otherwise great website. =|

Seriously?

Just add the YouTube links to the template?!

1. Links should be tied to the topics somehow and saved to DB
2. Somebody shoud paste the links after videos are available
3. It would also be great if symposion could track how much time is left for the
talk scheduled on the presentation page and turn on online
translation at the
place of the video if translation is available
