This has now been renamed CascadeLMS, and the repo moved to GitHub. More at:

Would it be worth porting some of this stuff to Django for inclusion
in pinax-lms?

Are the data models at least useful to borrow?

Still plugging away with pinax on the on hand and moodle on the other hoping to cross the streams.  I haven't been able to look at the cascadeLMS stuff yet.  Still listening though :)

I think so.

Obviously Rails and Django have a lot in common. I guess it's just a
question of maybe some minimal translation between the Cascade
monolithic approach into the pinax modular approach. For example,
Cascade "teams" aren't really needed given Pinax's tribe/group
support.

I'll try to spend more time assessing Cascade in depth, and maybe
blogging some of my thoughts and conclusions (with screenshots), which
that they might be of use to both projects. I just need to find time.

PS - Mike is looking at integrating Wave support to replace his
current wiki and forum functionality.
