Interested in building a music-oriented social network

[Social Network in DJango]

Hey Guys,

I'm working with a group of musicians looking to build a new social
networking website for musicians and non-profit performing groups.

We plan to build it on pinax. It would have the basic features of a
band or musician website as well as core functionality of MySpace (or
similar).

We are seeking people to help out with this project, and we are
looking for re-usable applications that are BSD License (but not GPL)
that can provide out-of-the-box core functionality.

Please let me know whether you know either (a) someone who wishes to
help, or (b) suggestions for re-usable applications.

I am in the process of getting an existing music event promotion site
running on pinax. The concept is more like http://residentadvisor.net
than myspace, but its similar enough. I am breaking out the
functionailty to reusable apps that can be plugged into pinax. Check
out the live site / fork and let me know your thoughts.
