Commerce Project (Recurring Subscriptions, Trials, Refunds)
Here are some preliminary ideas. I welcome comments, corrections and
suggestions.

Thank you in advance,

Jonathan
==================================================================================
I propose a commerce project focused around a module that will
integrate several payment solutions such as paypal, google checkout,
and accepting credit card directly.

I envision a website where users will register, providing a name,
email, and selecting a user name.

That website will initially have a signup list for people waiting to
join it (probably the private beta project).

Upon release, the website will have a subscription rate such as:

$250 for 12 months
$150 for six months
$80 for three months
$30 for one month
$1 per day

A subscriber can upgrade their subscription either by renewing at the
current rate for the same time, or
selecting another plan to be added to their current subscription.
Likewise, when the subscription terminates, most of the website would
be unavailable, except for an "alumni" portion where they could view
their past activity.

There would also be derived accounts that have limited activity
permitted. Those derived accounts would become and remain active for
as long as the underlying account was active. The derived account
could pay the subscription fee for the underlying account.

Certain accounts could give away up to, say 3, 7-day trial periods
within a six-month period. These derived accounts could receive an
affiliate fee of say 10% of revenues earned by the website for each
underlying account that is linked to that derived account.

How do I give refunds within 30 days? How does the affiliate fee get
refunded or is it paid after 30 days?
