Thefonts presented on this website are their authors' property, and are either freeware, shareware, demo versions or public domain. The licence mentioned above the download button is just an indication. Please look at the readme-files in the archives or check the indicated author's website for details, and contact him/her if in doubt. If no author/licence is indicated that's because we don't have information, that doesn't mean it's free.

I think I've done everything right, but when I run the app, the text on my button appears with the standard system font instead of the one I imported. I added NSLog(@"%@",[UIFont familyNames]); to see if it was in the list but it isnt. Which makes me think I've set it up wrong.

I would suspect that you haven't added the font file to your target, so that it's not copied to the app's resources. Your code works fine here and the font does show up as "Press Start K" in the list of font families.

To find the actual names of the fonts you should be using with UIFont(name: "yourFontName", size: 24.0) (swift) or [UIFont fontWithName:@"yourFontName" size:16.0f] (obj c). The custom font names you add to your plist must match whatever the files are called in your directory (including the .ttf or .otf), but the code referencing the fonts must match the font names you get from this output. Good luck fontmasters!

You need to go to system preference, then keyboard, input sources, then add oriya keyboard. After then go back to pages or text pad use the oriya sangam MN to type in oriya. But there are some yuktakyra font/symbol missing in this version of keyboard. Hope apple add all oriya fonts and symbol in then next version of Sierra.

Below you will find a step-by-step guide to zooming in on websites in your browser. If you have also changed the settings in your operating system and find that this does not magnify the text enough to be useful, then it is worth investigating screen magnification software.

Page zoom level will be remembered for each unique domain, e.g. if you increase zoom for Google Search ( ), zoom level will also be increased for Google Calendar ( ). However, since Gmail ( ) is on a different domain, zoom level will remain unchanged in this example.

To access these settings, open the Google Chrome Options, select the Under the Hood tab and click the Fonts and Languages button. The dialog that opens allows you to adjust your font settings (note: there is an open bug (1040) to allow these settings to override fonts specified in web pages).

The text in your browser window should now appear larger. Please note that you will have to make these adjustments for every website that you visit. However, Firefox will remember your settings, so you will only have to do this once for each site.

Internet Explorer Zoom lets you enlarge or reduce the view of a webpage. Unlike changing font size, zoom enlarges or reduces everything on the page, including text and images. You can zoom from 10% to 1000%.

The text in your browser window should now appear larger. If this is still too small for you then it may be that you need to look at other ways of enlarging the text on your screen, such as using the Zoom facility in the Apple Operating System.

You can currently change the font on the Label and TextInput components by setting their FontFamily property (in the Advanced tab). The available font choices differ depending on the device type (i.e. Android or iOS) and are listed below. At some point we will likely allow you to choose a font for each device type and perhaps make the choice be a dropdown (at least for Android, where there are many fewer choices). We will also likely enable setting the font for Button components as well.

Thanks Mark, I think for simple formatting it would be interesting to offer the same monospaced font If possible for both iOS and Android. Now their names are different - monospace and Courier (for example).

Wondering if you were able to get this resolved. I am running into similar issue to set a default font which is totally new. 'Avenir Next LT Pro'. Not sure if there is additional webresource like attaching the ttf file related to this font to be added to make this work.

A typeface intended for situations where Oriya Sangam MN seems too sophisticated and LiHei Pro too vulgar, or vice versa. AUTHENTIC Sans explores the semiotic and aesthetic idiosyncrasies of the anonymous Latin glyphs included with CJK system fonts; the typeface aims to subvert the Eurocentric standards of typographic quality and refinement. Distributed freely under the WTFPL, AUTHENTIC Sans is a reflection of the studio praxis: expanding and redefining the visual and cultural boundaries of default systems. The typeface was first used on the booth poster for Cooperative Editions and Common Satisfactory Standard at the 2015 NY Art Book Fair.

In 1984 Eastern AmericaTrio Products was created as a way to connect products to people. Peopleconsistently have basic needs that they need fulfilled. People constantly hadto find ways to buy these products and sometimes the products would be either tooexpensive or not of great quality. That is why the two founders decided tostart a wholesale distribution company that dealt with 99 cent stores, dollarstores, variety stores and discount stores of all types. With the belief thatquality products could be created at affordable prices we hope to share ourproducts with as many people as possible.

When you buy a productor go into a store what is your purpose for going into the store? Typically wehave noticed much too often that people go into a store to just buy some tool, headset or party accessories and we thought that is good that people can dothat but the product can be more than just a product. Have you ever noticedthe philosophical sayings on a Trisonic, Powtech, or Sonitek package? If youhave how did it make you feel? Over the years we have received mixed commentsabout these quotes. The reasoning behind these quotes are that our company isnot just a company that creates products we also believe in how, as a company,we are part of the community and that the products are part of our daily lives.

Myanmar MN and Myanmar Sangam MN will never work in Affinity applications because they are Apple fonts which use Apple's non-standard font tables instead of standard OpenType tables. Affinity applications only support standard OpenType.

You could try Noto Sans Myanmar and Noto Serif Myanmar (which use standard OpenType tables).

But, I doubt they will work because they rely on three OpenType features which may or may not be supported in Affinity (I do not know for sure; I have not checked).

Update: I did not notice at first you also tested Padauk.

That font uses OpenType and Graphite tables.

It also use a few more different OpenType features than the Noto fonts.

So still try the Noto fonts.
