when I move a file to another directory, it is not always the case
that everything that needs to change in order for things to keep
working is automatically changed, when using a classic IDE. and if you
don't have good static types and/or good tests, you can be
footgunning.

if the code weren't just dead ascii, then moving things around could
be a live thing that can know enough to automatically update
dependencies and references.

now we just throw AI at the same problem, yay.
