afaict nobody that turns up in search engine results can explain mvc vs. mvvc vs. mpv vs. viper in a way that makes any sense. it all comes across as handwaving distinctions without differences. even though i've worked on and shipped a bunch of ios and android apps. just mind boggling.

They're all so similar and try to solve similar issues, I don't remember either. Some is more abstracted than the others.
