I can't think of a language ecosystem where modules / imports, or
build / dependencies, or version / lockfiles, or library registries,
or any of that kind of thing was at all easy or robust.

it is all a nightmare repeated ad infinitum.

you'd think somebody could do a masters, or beg an AI, and develop a
high-level specification of how to do it less wrong.
