things like iOS "VIPER" architecture being denigrated because it requires creating too many files. 

i don't disagree that it is unfun. i disagree that we should be stuck with programming ecosystems where we have the over head of "gosh how many files would this take?" or "i wonder which file feature F is in?"

along with, of course, "gosh how on earth do these N components actually work together to implement behaviour Y?"
