if components have been well developed and are working correctly, why can bugs arise when they are composed/aggregated/joined?

ironically, the individual components are likely already using components internally eg procedures.

A few reasons: incorrect integration (e.g. bad docs, read them wrong, wrote or the composition code wrong), hidden interactions (e.g. unexpected shared state, or deadlock on a shared mutex), or violation of resource constraints (e.g. limits on memory or latency).

I'm sure there are more.
