one way is the best way

as bad as React is, most others seem worse. And it did jump the shark itself. But the one way flow the diff idea made development so much more clear, even if there was too much boilerplate with redux.

makes me wonder how the principles could be applied to other hairy ball problems, like distributed (e.g. web app end to end) systems.

The React API has also been very stable. I copied and pasted code from years ago and it works perfectly. Angular 18, 19, 20, 21. I don’t even know the right way until I Google for everything. Camel case attrs? Dashes? inject? It’s starting to solidify, but not yet.

One “issue” is that people might feel React is not progressing. But in a world of daily npm updates, I’m OK with that!
