Waba Intro/Starter FAQ?

I'm looking around for information on getting started with Waba. I
pieced together some ideas from many sources, but there are also a lot
of dead links.

Can anyone post here, or direct me to, a step-by-step how to code in
Waba in anything (Eclipse?) and get it to build for a Windows Mobile
device as well as the Apple Newton.
