Dear Family of Pilmoor,

 

Did you realize that the Methodist church is second to last to being a church who invites others to join us in church worship.    Now to surprise you, the rate of invitation is one church member invites another person to church every thirty-eight years.

 

It has been proven that people do come to church when they are invited.  So to break those odds, 5 post cards have been printed and will be in the bulletins this Sunday for you to address and mail to friends, family, neighbors, co-workers or even your church family you haven't seen at church lately.  This invitation is for Easter Sunday service at 11 AM.  Each new guest will be given a gift bag of home made bread. (There will be a Sunrise Service, breakfast after Sunrise Service, and the 11 AM Church Service, no 8:30 AM service on Easter).

 

This is an easy way to invite someone to come join our great church family for services.  So begin making your list now, get the addresses ready so all you have to do is fill in the blanks  when you get the cards Sunday and mail on Monday.  Or you can stay after church and address your cards and we will take them to the post office and mail them for you.  Just put them on the altar when you are finished and we will collect them after services.  These cards will be blessed before mailing.  If you want more than 5 cards, we will have them available.

 

If you mail your own, say a prayer for each person receiving your invitation. 

 

 

 

PS  We do need two nursery workers for Easter.  Please call the office if you can volunteer just for one service.
