This coming Wednesday night is POTLUCK: bring your favorite soup and/or bread. Donations will be taken for the Food Pantry.
Feb 15: the After School will help me set up a POTATO bar
Feb 22: ASH Wedneday: Youth will help me with our traditional pancakes
We need volunteers for Feb 29 and March 7th.
March 14: UMM cook and there is a CAKE Auction Menu TBA
March 21: Discipleship/Nurture workgroup cooks: Nacho/Taco bar
March 28: Hilda Brumsey Circle serves Lasagna
I would like to personally thank the Men's group and Ladies Circles for volunteering this year. A big hug and thanks to my workgroup for stepping up to the plate(or oven) and cooking.
They offer a challenge to the other workgroups and committees in the church (yes that's you Staff Parish/ Trustees/ Council/ finance/ Missions/ Witness/ etc) to step up in the next few weeks and volunteer.
As always the policy: the group that cooks designates where any monies go. Example: youth can put proceeds into the youth account, or food pantry or general fund. And keep your reciepts and turn into to Linda with the proper documentation for reimbursement of groceries ( Wed. code is 5.80.110).
SIGN UP SHEETS for Feb/March and also for next Qaurter will be located in the Narthex and Social Hall this Sunday or you can call or email me* directly to put you/ your group on the list.
