Hey yall! I hope you had a great weekend.
I wanted to reach out about a conference coming up at the end of March on the 27 & 28. Some of you may have heard about it already, it's called the Sparrow Conference. The Sparrow Conference exists to unify & mobilize women specifically 18 to 20 somethings to whole heartedly pursue Jesus Christ & the advancement of the Gospel.
On the Friday night of the conference, there is a benefit concert for a ministry called New Friends New Life. The concert will feature Ellie Holcomb. New Friends New Life is a human trafficking ministry right here in our backyard. My mom is working with the women putting on the Sparrow Conference to gather toiletry/cleaning supplies for the women at New Friends New Life. They are looking to collect 50 of each item by the end of February. If anyone would like to donate, a list of items is below. Even just one item would be so helpful! If you would like to give, please let me know and I can get it over to the right people.
Items needed:
Laundry Detergent
White trash bags
Suave shampoo & conditioner
Body Lotion
Lysol
Windex
Please feel free to pass along word about the conference and/or the needed items.
If you are interested in attending the conference, you will need to register online at sparrowconference.com . I believe the tickets are $30. I'm planning to go!
