which roxen 6.x as replacement for caudium?

hi,
which version of roxen (strictly opensource, no purchase needed) would
be the right one to replace an old caudium webserver?
i dont want to/cannot use the version from roxen.com, as i would like
to have it on an appliance and the roxen.com-version seems to be
somewhat outdated. pike 8.0.702 is already running.
what is the correct path to install roxen with a given pike?
if needed i could provide a installation-document after finding the
correct way to do so.

have a look at http://download.roxen.com/6.1/ to find Roxen's latest open source webserver version (currently V6.1.246).
