AM i not allowed to post on your Groupe  , I see a lot on  not true information  about recent charge coil problem and  I post correct and I never see my post   I am the oldest and oldest  Rotax repair  in the USA 41 years now

Thanks Bret and others ,  I just see  some wrong information's at times about the Rotax engines used in motor gliders and post what is correct and never see  what i post  or reply  as to wrong info , I have worked on the Rotax engines for 41 years and some of the oldest  were  the 501 and 505 engine in the M.G.s  , Cheers

H Steve. In that case  I expect you are able to refurbish a a shortened coil...
