Minasan,

thank you for the meeting yesterday, and memos sent last night.

I have small information.
Today, I attended a MOT class in Tamachi, I met a guy in
this class, of Umemuro-ken, (may be chinese?)
He told me his group went to a nursing home for survay.
but he wasn't sure what to do in his group from the survay.
He asked me "Raisyu Daijoubu?", "affective is difficult, isn't it?"

By the way, may I do something for the next Monday?
Will someone be a speaker with the meeting note?
Katsuki-san, could you exlpain your idea of navi chair?
I am sorry, I don't have my idea for preparation for Monday.

Hato, Thanks for summary of discussion at first!

Otsuka-san, I'm not sure what professor want to see in the
next class. Did he say something about how they're gonna
show the result of their survey?

I can speak that in the class, but still i don't get what
is affectiveness so I'm not confident about if i can
explain our affectiveness clearly...
So it will be quite helpful if Senri help me to speak of
it!!

Cheers,

Katsuki Funakoshi

Katsuki-san, minasan,

i asked him whether we make a presetation or something, he didn't
comment for it directly.
i couldn't heard any more because we were in the elevator, the cage
reached to the ground and he ran away.

By the way, my memo on my handout was like this,
具体的には、that is;
 ユーザー who is the user
課題 what problem do we solve
 感情 affectiveness
ソリューション what solution do we prvide,

I think our explanation would better include above elements.
Meeting memo is good for this,

Sorry, tomorrow I will email you gain.
Good night!

I translated my point of older people's charactaristics.

1. things below will be limited or get slow.
a. eyes
b. ears
c. toughness
d. reflexes
e. memory
f. information processing

2. other points
a. they don't want to do something unfamilier.
b. they want someone help them.

I wish it would help.

Besides, I think we have had enough discussion and information by e-mail.

hey all,

don't worry! i think we are very well prepared for what may come :)

i'll need to print this out before class tomorrow but i have an errand to run so if anyone sees this before class tomorrow, please print it and bring it to class!

1) Who are we providing this for?
- Elderly folk (Ages 65 and above) who make (frequent/infrequent) trips around

2) What is the problem to be solved?
- Aged folk, with deteriorating physical abilities, are believed to find discomfort during prolonged walking and/or a sense of panic while trying to navigate their way to preferred destinations such as parks.

3) What affect is being created?
- This project aims to create pleasure and satisfaction in our users, while also inducing a sense of security

4) What solution shall be provided?
-This project aims to provide resting places (eliminates discomfort due to prolonged walking) while providing an easily comprehensible form of navigation
