Strong Gaffer needed for shoot in Ithaca New York. We are shooting at a location called The Dacha Project and will be staying in a B&B. Both the location and the B&B are North of Ithaca. The film is a graduate student thesis production with graduate students from Temple University as well as actors and crew from the general Philadelphia region. The location is beautiful and the cast/crew are great to work with!

Work on Documentary Film Crew in Philadelphia on June 30, 2012 (Film Studio in Philadelphia)
Whistleblower Productions is offering college students
studying radio-TV-film or communications students and experienced film crew
people the opportunity to work on a documentary film that is being produced
this summer in every state capital. If you have experience working on a film
crew, please contact us. You will not be paid, but you will receive experience
and will be listed in the closing credits.
This film project is unique in many ways. The movie is being filmed in all 50
states and DC in a 143-day road trip covering over 21,000 miles (surely a first).
Over 1,000 people will be filmed, and the project will produce one documentary
film, and over 1,000 videos, including testimony for every state legislature
and the U.S. House and Senate. This movie will be a shocking expose of
government and judicial corruption.
Film students and other volunteers will be joining the movie crew all across
the country.

Editor/Digital Media Specialist (Manayunk, PA)
Lunchbox Communications is a media production company
located in Manayunk. We offer full service advertising to our clients, but
specialize in the production of creative documentaries. Some of our clients
include: The Franklin Institute, GlaxoSmithKline, and PBS Kids Sprout. We are
coming into a busy season and need a superstar editing intern with an interest
in graphic design to help us out! We are a small agency with big clients - an
internship here will give you experience in all facets of working for an
advertising and production agency.
Essentially we are looking for someone who majoring in editing or video
production, but is also proficient with Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
The ability to multitask and quickly change gears is essential to succeeding in
this internship. You will be working closely with both senior and junior level
employees.
This is an unpaid internship, but will provide a stipend for travel. We will
gladly comply with giving you school credit.

Home Makeover Web Series
Now casting for
"Lightover" stories (makeovers using light) for a web series that
demonstrates the impact of light on peoples life's. Seeking real people with
real homes/lighting needs matching our scenarios. Not seeking for actors or
models. Their locations will need to allow focusing on a make over using
lighting. New York and NJ are preferable, and can be 45 minutes outside of NYC
- but we are more focusing on matching people with the scenarios below. This is
a web series and will not be for television broadcast.
Each unit will be given $1,000 PLUS all of the
components in their home makeover as compensation for a usage of the footage
for a 3 year term globally- within internet and print marketing/advertising.
Story 1:
Location: Living room/Kitchen
Young couple – Their passion for food and wine and
entertaining created a need to transform their kitchen/living area into an
intimate, yet functional "entertaining center"
-young couple in their late twenties/early thirties,
(just) married, or preparing for a marriage
-busy life, always trying to get the balance between
job and spare time
-passionate about food/wine and entertaining
friends/family
-need to have a kitchen or living area which we can
transform into an intimate, yet
functional entertainment center
Story 2:
Location: Office/Living room
Story: Mature Couple nearing retirement embarking on
a 2nd retirement career. They telecommute during the day, but at the end of the
day, they like nothing more than spending down time with the grand kids
crafting and reading. Their desire to continue to live a productive
lifestyle requires improved lighting for their aging
eyes.
-mature couple in their late fifties, early sixties
-still active, fit and still having a productive
lifestyle
-already having grandchildren to spend down time with
-need to have an office or living room which we can
improve to make it fit the needs of
their aging eyes
Story 3:
Location: Family room
Story: Family playing at home – Young family wants
to enjoy family time and entertainment at home. Parents look forward to 'game
night', children want to play video games, and all want to enjoy a good movie
together in their 'home cinema'. They want to turn their garage, or basement,
or bonus room into a home entertainment space that will work for all.
-family of at least four, parents in their
thirties/early forties, kids aged from 8 – 14
-eager to spend time together
-they need to have a home with an additional room to
improve (basement, family room, or restored garage, etc.)
