You live with a guy, you love the same goofy sci-fi, you love the guy.
But he calls you dude. This is a situation Hal wishes would change
with her housemate Olly, a locksmith and wannabe superhero who only
has eyes for an extraterrestrial hottie. When Olly has a close
encounter with the being of his dreams, things turn very ugly.
Sometimes you have to cross the final frontier to find love on your
home planet.

This is our short film, Max Thrust (please view the pitch video here:
http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/379286879/max-thrust) that is on a
mission to the heart of the Philadelphia Film Festival.

We still need crew for our shoot on June 16th, 17th and 18th.
Positions available:

Audio person
Director of lighting
Make-up artist
PA.

We are also doing a casting call for these roles:

Olly:
late 20’s to early 30’s - male
The quintessential obsessive geek, Olly gets easily wrapped up in his
own world most of the time. He works hard and with purpose, almost to
the point of missing the obvious, yet remains incredibly endearing and
sort of goofy. He is generally handsome (especially in bold frame
glasses), but may not be in top physical condition.

Hal:
late 20’s to early 30’s - female
A bit of a tomboy, Hal is very good natured, patient, but is also
easily wrapped up her own world of sci-fi and literature, though she
is grounded enough to realize it. Hal is quite bright, introspective,
thoughtful, and although not “Hollywood” attractive, has her own
unique appeal. She’s generally fairly passive, and is still finding
her way in life.

Male and Female Jehovah's Witnesses:
male and female - college age?
Easily terrified, preferably both small in stature. The younger, more
idealistic, and wide eyed, the better.

If you are interested in one of these roles and are definitely
available June 16th, 17th and 18th, please email a bio+headshot to Dom
Hilton.

This is a low, low budget shoot so we can only offer credits and pizza
but the film will be well supported for festivals.

If you can't join our cast or crew, consider pledging a little
something on our Kickstarter page (we're halfway there!).

Thanks,

Dom Hilton
