I was charged premium Netflix to my bill, so checked the app on my tivo box & an unrecognised account is set to use the app. The Netflix profiles are pin locked and Netflix were able to help me work around the pin lock so I was able to log the account out.

No it hasn't been sorted out. I just can't understand why you can't look at the email address that is linked to my virgin account via netflix. I'm now paying an additional charge every month for something that someone else is accessing and neither yourselves at Virgin or Netflix seem to want to help me with this problem. It doesn't matter how I describe this issue, no one wants to help me with it. Just keep pointing me to the other organisation.

I start having the problem a week ago or litle more, my Tivos Bolt don't see my NAS-312, I reset the tivos, I change ip address, I reset router, switch, I did everything imaginable and still not luck, I don't know if this is an issue for a firmware from Tivo or from Netgear I don't know if I can go back in the NAS-312 to previous firmware without loosing my movies in the HDD, any idea or information will be appreciate.

Did you recently update the NAS firmware? You can typically move backward in minor versions, but not major ones. So 6.10.3 to 6.10.0 or later is fine, but 6.10.3 to 6.9.6 or earlier isn't. But I wouldn't try that first unless somebody who uses a Tivo device can say that's really the cause.

I believe Tivo uses Plex to access the NAS. Have you checked to see if your Plex version on the NAS is up to date? Do you have any other device that uses Plex that can still see the NAS? Maybe just toggling Plex off and on will help.

Thank you for your idea, but my version is 6.10.4, I really don't notice where it is missing the connection with the tivo since I had the NAS off for few days, like 5 or 6 days, regarding PLEX I saw it charge 4.99, I really don't want to pay for that when I can stream directly from my NAS

(before I have this problem) and like I say in my post I check everythiing in the NAS also in the settings I saw my two tivos say Ready, but they still not showing in the Tivos, also I dissabled and enabled the Moca + Ethernet on the tivos, and still not showing. reallaay don't know what to do now, I'm afraid to loose my data in the HHD moving firmware back and forward, I really apreciate any help

I never used Plex all ways used directly from NAS to the tivo, and I upload to the NAS from my computer, I call support and they say to fill a form online and phone hang up, really start dissapointed with netgear, ok, where can I get old firmwares like 6.10.0 ? hope this help netgear really dont giving any support on the phone! and I think I'm not the only one with this problem, I bid anything that many of the people are looking at this are having issues too. thanks for your help really appreciate

There is a Plex client on the TiVo, so this might have been using the Plex server on the NAS. You shouldn't need a subscription for a local plex server unless you are streaming to a plex mobile app (or using one of the other paid options). -plex-free-vs-paid/

The NAS also has a built-in DLNA service, and it includes a TiVo server option. So maybe check system->settings->services->DLNA to make sure that service is enabled, and that the TiVo server option is turned on.

Thanks for your help, yes Tivo was able to stream direct from the NAS-312 (not previous versions) I have my NAS, tivos and TV in the same network segment, and I stream directly to my TV through the Tivo, my TV actually see the NAS-312 so I think I have not other option to stream

direct to my TV instead than use the Tivo like before, but what piss M...O.... is that this Co. make firmwares that mess up us. and they start blaming each other, Tivo say is Netgear, Netgear say is Tivo, and soo on, the problrem I think will be when I try to install an old firmware the

NAS will going to say a new firmware is installed and not take the old one, ans I don't want to lost all my movies all ready in the NAS, Netgear is not providing anything that help, and I see a lots of people look and not help, I think probably if they see an accidented person in the floor they will do the same, look at the person and continue the walk, unfortunately is like that just couple peoples allways try to help. thanks again. I browse the nas folder in my computer and I drag the file I need to move to my nass and it copy perfectly, I did that with all my movies.

The Tivo support site talks about using ReadyDLNA with the Tivo Server option enabled. Though that is more about archiving than streaming ( -ReadyNAS ). Note that NAS screenshots are very dated - you need to go into system->settings->services->ReadyDLNA instead.

As you can see here everything looks ok, but NAS don't show in the tivo, and Tivo don't have settings for the NAS, and like I say before, I was streaming all my movies directly from the NAS to my TV without a second App or intermediary app, also I did with the NAS-DUO untill I get the Tivo Bolt that never saw the NAS-DUO tat is why I purchased the NAS-312 and I was streaming directly from the NAS, movies was stored as an mpg. I can see the NAS-312 AND MY NAS-DUO in my TV, and streaming the movies without problems, but I want to find out why I was doing before in the TIVO and now I can't, there is a bug or they dissabled something on TIVO or in Netgear firmaware, I enabled all protocols to see if that help but not. I'm giving up and wait till people start complaining to see if there a solution come. thans for the help

Your most recent screenshot shows that the NAS is finding two Tivos (living room and master bedroom). Though that screen is more about archiving. You might look in the archive folder on the NAS, and check if the archiving is still happening.

Also, I am still wanting to know if you have DLNA enabled for your media shares. It's not enough to enable it in system->settings. As a reminder, that is controlled via the share settings wheel for the various shares.

OK I solve the problem, and I know iit is a FIRMWARE problem, since I downloaded the Firmware 6.10.0 and I installed in the nas, I reboot NAS and TIVO and BANG! NAS start showing in my TIVO, and like the guy say before that I need PLEX for streaming my movies from NAS, NOT I don't need PLEX I just click NAS-312 and I can see all my movies there and stream it, here is a screen picture from my TV showing the NAS in the TIVO,

in the TiVo recorded shows (I don't try 6.10.3 I don't want take the risk to lost again the NAS, so I will stay in 6.10.0 and not going to do any futures update till Netgear fix this issue, they tyrn the head and ignore it) I really waant someone from Netgear take a look to my post, I saw on google few peoples complaining about this, some one heree told me to use PLEX, I DON'T LIKE PLEX and I don't want my personal collection is in other server when I don't know if they take a copy of everrything, I stream direct from my NAS-312 and I'm very happy that way.

Since then it has been working just fine but yesterday after I had chosen the Pandora app to play I got nothing but a black screen and no sound. I tried opening the Netflix and Prime apps which are also in my favourite apps list and they were working just fine.

I've gone ahead and removed the Tivo association from your account. This will automatically sign you out once this change takes effect. Once this happens, can you go through the set-up again and let me know if you're still getting the black screen and no sound.

Hi Tanner, I'm still just getting the black screen and no sound, so I can't even try to authenticate Pandora again with my device. Like I said earlier it appears that Pandora is the only App. that is not responding.

any new information on the pandora blank screen issue? mine started doing the same thing. very aggravating. i spoke to tivo, and they said an update should be coming, but i think she had zero knowledge of that. pandora has worked fine on tivo for years until a couple weeks ago.

i believe so. the model is the Tivo Bolt Vox - 1 TB. Thank you! This is extremely aggravating and disappointing. Pandora was the sole reason we went with Tivo as the Time Warner DVR didn't have the app on-board. Pandora worked great on our old Tivo, and worked on this Bolt for a year until it started blanking out a couple weeks ago.

I had exactly the same problem, the only thing that worked for me was to unplug the Tivo for 20 sec. or so and it would show up. It seems it would stay put for a few weeks and then I'd have to unplug it again. I finally got rid of my Bolt and bought the Edge, just got it all working and that was one of the first things I checked. Pandora was there at least for now and today is the first day with the Edge so if it goes missing again I'll be back on here complaining again.

I've got a Tivo OTA box. Pandora worked fine until about 3 weeks ago when it started the same business that is reported in this thread -- i.e. all other apps work fine Pandora just goes to a black screen and doesn't even load. I've rebooted everything, etc. Don't know if I can "reload" Pandora -- as I recall Pandora was preloaded in the apps.

Ok like I said in my last post if Pandora goes missing again I'd be back complaining. I was leaning towards Tivo being the culprit but now I'm convinced it is a Pandora issue. I got rid of my Tivo Bolt and bought a new Tivo Edge. It has been working great until about a week ago and the old problem of Pandora not opening up when clicked on has reappeared. I would just get a long message that there is an error and check back later. I found that if unplugged the Edge it would show up again. It has happened twice now over a period of 12 days. Out of all of the apps I have on Tivo, Pandora is the only one that I have trouble with.

TiVo (/ˈtiːvoʊ/ TEE-voh) is a digital video recorder (DVR) developed and marketed by Xperi (previously by TiVo Corporation and TiVo Inc.) and introduced in 1999. TiVo provides an on-screen guide of scheduled broadcast programming television programs, whose features include "OnePass" schedules which record every new episode of a series, and "WishList" searches which allow the user to find and record shows that match their interests by title, actor, director, category, or keyword. TiVo also provides a range of features when the TiVo DVR is connected to a home network, including film and TV show downloads, advanced search, online scheduling, and at one time, personal photo viewing and local music playback.
