Certificate of Good Standing

Good am,
I would like to know if PIEP Certificate of Good Standing is still required to renew the PRC ID. Three years ago when I renewed my three professional ID, it is only PIEP that required a Certificate of Good Standing prior to renewal. It was a big hassle as I have to return home, send an email to the secretariat, wait, print the certificate of good standing and return to the PRC office.
My PRC ID is expiring in the next few days. Two weeks ago, I sent an email to the PIEP secretariat but up to now I have not received any reply.
Does anybody know if the Certificate of Good Standing is still needed? If so, where should I send my request ? With all the imbroglio of the PIEP board, do I need Certificates of Good Standing –i.e. one certificate from each of the competing board of directors?
