Tonight I updated my Pidp-8 to use the latest 32bit Trixie Lite PI OS. Also wanted to try out compiling the source files (downloaded with fossil) rather than use the canned image. I did the compiling on a RPI-4 and then transferred the configured SD card to the RPI-3 attached to the PiDP-8 front panel. Worked just fine.
I did a false start by configuring a 64bit Trixie image on a RPI-5 and compiled the source. The simulator ran okay. I didn't try hooking it up to the front panel. Of course this image wouldn't run on the attached RPI-3! So started over with the 32bit version.
Just an FYI.
