Raspberry Pi 5?

I'd like to resurrect the PiDP-8 that I built many years ago and am wondering if it will work with the Raspberry Pi 5. I think I used a Pi 3 when I first built it but it would be nice to have the faster boot times of the Pi 5. Will the official image run on a Pi 5?

No, the official image will not work on the Pi5, for several reasons.

There is a new version in beta test which already runs fine on my PiDP-8i. However there were some strange error messages during the build process of OS/8, not sure if this is still worked on?

I ended up finding the Pi 3 I used originally and installed a new image on it and now my PiDP-8 is working again! However, I never finished assembling it into the bamboo case and I think I lost two of the spacer blocks so I'll have to make new ones. That's what I get for taking so long to finish my project!
