On a related note, I did a fresh install of Trunk onto a newly flashed Trixie uSim within the last couple of days, like Friday or Saturday. Everything worked perfectly. Just last night, however, I did it again for a different one of my PiDP-8/Is. Along the way, IIRC in cloning the Trunk repo, there was a message at the end about nuking the 6.script file because it had to do with ETOS and ETOS was no longer available due to potential licensing issues. The problem was that a little later on, I believe in the ./configure step, it crashed because it couldn't find a
6.script.in file. I got around it by making a copy of
5.script.in then renaming that copy as
6.boot.in in the .../pidp8i/trunk/boot folder.
So, it seems that either the requirement for the
6.script.in file needs to be removed from the ./configure step or some kind of dummy / filler
6.script.in file needs to be added back into .../pidp8i/trunk/boot folder.
