At the next Vintage Computer Fest Midwest I plan on bring my Teletype
Model 33 ASR and connecting it to either my PDP-8/L if it's running by
the or my  PiDP-8/I.

I am looking for a few games that would be playable on an ASR-33 like
Star Trek, Tik Tac Toe, Adventure.  I will probably load them by paper
tape for an authentic experience

Any ideas and links would be greatly appreciated.

David Ahl published a book for DEC called BASIC Computer Games than ran originally on the PDP-8 and later RSTS.  They were all moved to PCs eventually.

I'm attaching a .zip file with some paper tape images that you could at least run on your PiDP-8/i. If you can transfer them to actual paper tape, they should run on your 8/L possibly depending on what version of Basic you have available.

All images in the .zip with file names of the form *20.ba.pt are intended to run in EduSystem 20C Basic. Edu20C is generic enough that those same should run on most versions of Basic. In the zip file are:

Bingo20.ba.pt -- a Bingo game player

blkjak20.ba.pt -- a Black Jack player

checkmoii.bn.pt -- this is the binary image for CheckMo II, the classic PDP-8 chess player that runs in 4k

letterheader.ba.pt -- a program in Edu20C basic that will punch human-readable text on the ASR-33 paper tape punch

qubic.bn.pt -- Qubic, tic-tac-toe on a 4x4x4 cube from DECUS. This is also a Binary paper tape image.

rps20.ba.pt -- rock paper scissors

startrek20.ba.pt -- 1970's era Star Trek

strtrk.ba.txt -- also 1970s era Star Trek, but maybe for OS/8 Basic?

tic-tac-toe.ba.pt -- tic tac toe player in Basic

EduSystem 20C Basic will run on an 8/L, particularly in single-user mode. You can get everything you need for EduSystem 20C basic here (note the README file):

The EduSystem handbook that discusses all of the different versions of PDP-8 Basic can be found here:
