As one privileged to have worked for Dec in the UK from 1979 - 1992 it is with sadness I read of the passing of Gordon Bell on Friday 17th May 2024. He was the genius behind PDP-8 and VAX11780. He transformed the world of mainframe computing and propelled it towards the world of personal computing.
He made us what we are today RIP
