My PiDP-11 drive DU1 contains the DECUS tape / disk images.
They consist of a set of DSK files.
From the included README file I understood  that I should use the MOUNT command file to install each of those images individually.

I did that for one of the images (XLISP) and a new virtual drive VF0: was created.
However, when typing DIR VF0: I get "cannot find directory file"

I tried a couple of other image files but the result was the same. Am I missing some step ?

Did you actually mount, or just VCP CONNECT them?

After connecting, you then need to mount the disk with MOU.

I do suspect that whatever you have there is an older version of XLISP
than I've made available with RPM.

Paulo,
The best LISP for RSX11M+ is the version that Johnny Billquist has made available via his RPM software system.
As far as how to access the DU1:[1,1] RSX SIG tapes and other software see the log file below.

Best regards,
Mark

D'oh! Of course. The "directory not found" is because Paulo didn't give
any directory to list, and the default directory he is at don't exist on
that disk. :)

Thanks Mark

I know why I wasn't seeing the files. I didn't add [*.*] to dir
Anyway, I was just interested in "kicking the tires", so I wasn't looking for any particular Lisp implementation.
And since I had the DECUS one already on the machine, I decided to try it.

However, as far as I can understand there's not an executable as part of the distribution, just the C sources.
And it seems they were originally written for VAX/VMS... so I'll pass and go for Johnny's implementation.
