In the late 70's or early 80's Dec Pdp-11s were able to run shared word processing software. One of the leaderrs was MASS-11 from MEC in Illinois. The founders daughter has written a book called, "War of the Words," by Carol Karels, thedaughter of Henry, "Hank," Karels Founder and CEO of Microsystems Engineering Corporation, MEC.

At RSTS Professional Magazine we used Mass-11 extensively.

I would love to install MASS_11 on my PDP-11/70 running RSTS/E. It is written in FORTRAN and I think I can install it if I can find the software.

Anyone have any ideas, or better yet, the software?
