Mim.Stupi.NET-Server not available

I Just tried to access the RPM-service from Mim.Stupi.NET but the server seems to be not available! Has something changed?

No. The machine is up and running normally.
Maybe the address where you come from were deemed abusive, and got
blocked? Write me directly, and we can look into that.

Problem with a firewall outside of my control. :-(

I'm trying to reach Peter about it, but no success so far.

If you are on HECnet, an alternative is to run the RPM over DECnet.

Hello Johnny! 

I'm (we're) very sad that the URL "mim.stupi.net" hasn't been working for a long time! 

Is there another URL that allows us to continue using the RPM function?

Hi.

At the moment, the only option is if you are on HECnet, in which case
you can run RPM over DECnet instead.
But I'm working on moving MIM, so hopefully things will soon change.

I can give you a single static public IP (and a system connected to it) if you just need to "park" somewhere for a half year or less before moving to its eventual new home.

Let me know if you're interested, how much storage and what OS / distro you want on it. It'd be some flavor of Dell PowerEdge 13th-generation (E5-2643 v3, 127 GB of RAM) with SSDs. The external link will be 1Gbit/sec.

With a bit more work and some travel, I can put the server somewhere there's a 40Gbit/sec connection to the Internet, but I doubt that's needed.
