to PiDP-10
Hi everyone - my first post so please excuse me if I'm asking a question covered in part elsewhere. I did several searches and couldn't find an exact answer.

My PiDP-10 is on order. After installing and playing with the PDP simulation on the new Pi 5 that I plan to use with it, I had an interesting idea:
  • Jailbreak an old Kindle; set it up with VNC as per this guide: "How to use a Kindle DX as a PC display"
  • Set up VNC on the Pi(DP-10) as detailed in threads in this Google group
  • Route *just* the system console (teletype) to the Kindle's e-ink display over VNC, which won't use much power, and which will be just fine if it lags a bit behind real-time in updating
  • Access the PDP-10 via rpdp whenever I want, with the joy of having a semi-headless PiDP-10 and a "teletype" on a stand to show off next to the blinkenlights.
There are several "ifs" and "maybes" surrounding this plan, so expert feedback is appreciated.

Best,
Hugh
