The TX-0 was still at MIT when I was there, I saw it running. Pretty amazing some of the tech that was developed 60+ years ago. Not sure why anyone would really want to support it now. I think the PDP-1 would be more interesting. Yes, I actually used the -1 with the Type 30 display for a few hours. Still, probably wouldn't bother. There is a limit to my nostalgia. BTW, I think there was also an analog computer there, can't remember what it was. Not the mechanical 'differential analyzer' that showed up in multiple sci-fi flicks. Anyone know what it was? Located in the same general area as the TX and the -1, I think.
