Ok, I’m getting older, I get it.
I’ve forgotten how to log onto the PIDP-10.
I found the docs, and rebuilt the OS.
Nice to have remote desktop features now in the OS.
Ok, so Switch 35 down,
Boot the machine,
I get the KA-10-DPY Type 340 Window
I hit PDP-10 View
I get 4 windows, shell, teletype, TV11, and KA10
I click into Teletype and try ITS escape g
Nothing appears.
What am I doing wrong?

I double-checked - my memory does not improve with age either...
sounds like you've neglected to push down the STOP key and then READ IN key after letting the machine boots up and has the first set of lights running? (Manual, p. 16)
