I have taken a few moments to test all the LEDs and found one bizarre one and two that think they are resisters, so the extras that Oscar provided will be enough to proceed with assurance that removal won't be a process if one were installed which won't work.

I also note a LOT of diodes, which can be tested before soldering.  If necessary.

A question for all who have successfully brought their -10s up and running:
Did anyone find a bad diode in this kit?  Is it worth the time to test every one of them before assembly?

Thanks, Dale

All my diodes were fine.

thanks for the reply, as well as all the others who did so.

Time to start bending leads and heat  up the soldering iron.

I pre-tested, and had two dead LEDs, all diodes tested ok. PiDP-10
happily functional and looks a treat.

same here. I guess the diodes are made from a different isotope of Chinesium that has a longer half-life :-)

I had one diode that was open-circuit. I think I found it when I was
testing the switch register and had to replace it with a spare.
