Single cycle and single instruction

Do these work on the virtual panel? They don't seem to. If I do a stop, turn single (either) on, continue does nothing at all. The pc doesn't change, no lights change. Or, am I confused (not unlikely)? If I turn off the single switch, continue does resume as expected.

They should work as expected, and they do for me. not really sure what you're seeing :/

I'll try some more tests. I was trying to single-step thru the music program that's in the tapes directory. Zero documentation, having to figure it out now by digging thru the assembly source.

BTW, there's a different version in the bitsavers archive I posted links to, but it's embedded as a listing in a pdf, not all that useful without a lot of work.
