I brought my newly minted PiDP-1 to a monthly Retro Computer Club meeting held at the makerspace that I am a member of, Kwartzlab. There was a pretty good crowd today of about 25 or so off and on. Many were aware of the PiDP-1. A few had other models already (8, 10, 11). There was a lot of interest, and a few games of Spacewar were played.Retro Club.jpg
Also I made cases for the Game Controllers. I really like the PCB look and how it matches the PiDP-1, but I find them a bit small and a little uncomfortable to play with for any length of time. I think the next version will have a clear acrylic top, best of both worlds.

Michael:  Nice!  Can you share the STL files for the case and buttons?  What filament gives that granulated look?

I have added the model files for the case to my Another Type 30 Display Project Files Section I just used PLA. The granulated look is from the textured build plate I have on my Bambu A1 Mini printer.
