Finally returned to start writing some documentation and blew up my HTML editor with too many characters in index.html file on a save. Bah humbug...

On the CHM site I came across a poor quality copy of Stanford University's PDP-1D order which goes down to the level of the hardware options and BB&N instructions to be implemented. Unfortunately it is of such poor quality that some mnemonics and text is unreadable. I don't know how to reliably extract the document from CHM as multiple documents appear to map to the same file name.

That 1D is historic, it's what STSS, the PDP-1 timesharing system was implemented on in 3 phases, Odin, Thor, and Zeus. The implementation seems to be well-documented. Well, you know where this is going to end up. I originally thought implementing the MIT timesharing from the -1X would be fun, but documentation is virtually nonexistent and the -1X was a huge hackfest. Then, maybe the BBN one, but it apparently never worked well and is also missing some key documentation. STSS, on the other hand, worked. The major bit that I''ll have to replicate is the custom Philco 12 terminal hardware, but my internal pidp-1 display rewrite will support that many displays easily, the drum exists, etc. My project list just keeps getting longer.
