When we build the PiDP-1, there is the script /opt/pidp1/test.sh which tests all LEDs and switches on the console electronics (operator panel).

Now that I have installed my final LED (thanks Mike for the spacer!) I moved the electronics from the console (initial test platform) to the rack. I re-ran test.sh with the last LED installed and all works.

However, there does not seem to be a corresponding test program to test all the LEDs in the upper I/O panel. I know mine "works", because LEDs do light up, and when I read a tape "stuff happens", but it would still be nice to have a test program to verify all the LEDs on the I/O panel.

Has anyone seen such a test program? Is one being considered?

As far as I recall, test.sh cycles through *all* the LEDs, including the I/O panel (if installed). So I'm not sure of your point.

You were correct. I just didn't wait long enough the first time. Works great!
