PiDP-1 - very fast LED flicker!

Hi all!

I've got my PiDP-1 up and running and it seemed to be working just fine - except all of a sudden the LEDs seem to be flickering very fast. Has anyone seen this before? Is it something obvious?

If I run the test program, the LEDs don't seem to be flickering - but I can't be sure as it moves from one LED to the other quite quickly.

I had this exactly one time with my console version, i do a pdp1control stop and pdp1control start and all was fine.

Fixed it! Found the answer in another thread on here.

We had a problem running the install.sh originally (some debate as to what to answer for a question, don't remember which), but as it seemed to work anyway, we didn't revisit it.

But that meant it never ran this:

$ sudo setcap cap_sys_nice+ep /opt/pidp1/src/blincolnlights/panel_pidp1/panel_pidp1

Since I've done that, it's absolutely fine!
