Thanks to patient help from ke...@mcgrath.name my repo has been updated.
You can now install the full working modded version with all the goodies, and it can be installed alongside the existing mainline release so you can try both. The install process is the same.

As long as you don't say yes to install binaries and desktop icons, your existing version will be unchanged. If you do install the binaries and desktop stuff and you want to revert back, just run the install again in the original directory.

This release has everything enabled, including lightpen support. Note that the only display that supports the lightpen right now is p7sim and p7simES. You have to give either a '-l' flag on the command line to enable the lightpen.

The included drum image has been updated to have 10 of my favorite programs preloaded.

This has been tested by me on Linux with the virtual panel and web interface and on an rpi5 with the hardware panel and gui interface.

Finally, it includes an uninstall.sh script in the install directory that will remove everything including binaries installed in the os. Don't use it if you were keeping your original binaries and desktop, or rerun the original install if you used it anyway.

It was quite the adventure digging out all the baked-in path references and symbolic links in the original to get all this working properly!
