The -1C Handbook refers to 'printer status bits', but doesn't say how you check them.
The documentation for the printer used with the -4 has specific IOTs to get the status.
The -1B Handbook is even more vague.
There is no indication that this was the case for the -1, so how were they checked?
Cks would be the obvious choice, but I've found no bit definitions for it.
It seems there were 2, 'print status bit' and 'space status bit'.
I'm also assuming that since the IOTs supported both i and completion-needed, that they could also cause an interrupt, but again no documentation specifically says that. Could it or not?
Can anyone help?
Bill
PS - the last handbook, the -1D version, is when the Type 64 printer replaces the 62. It also mentions status bits, but again no indication of how to check them. So, same questions for it.
