I was running some of the demos like spacewar (not very much fun without controllers by the way ;-) and the phosphor fading effects are amazing.

Angelo, of course. Would not be so pretty if it was my code.

Just so you know, the Web interfaces has the option to render at 512*512 or 1024*1024. You'll see pretty much no difference, but the CPU/GPU load is a lot less with the 512 rendering - recommended. The Type 30 simulation is pretty but uses an lot of CPU/GPU, because of openGL. But it does look pretty :-)

The GUI at present renders only at 1024*1024, Angelo will do an update soon to enable the 512 option, because it is really preferred.

Also, he'll fix the bug that Terry had when he used an ultra-high res monitor and found the game controllers unresponsive. That will be done today or tomorrow as well, plus some other fixes.

Kind regards,

Oscar.

We do need to visit the CHM in the coming months, with a PiDP-1 in hand, to fine-tune the phospor fade time and also the front panel LED 'glow times' - to match the incandescent bulb simulation on LEDs more finely to the real machine. But that is just parameter tweaking.
