musictracker's get track information from WMP does not work correctly with
the
portable apps version of pidgin, as wmpuice.dll needs to be registered
(using
regsvr32) to work. Normally this is done by the musictracker installer, but
this
won't have happened if you have copied the DLLs into the portableapps flash
drive and
then moved to another computer.
Workaround: Use the regsvr32 command manually to register wmpuice.dll.
Bonus point
for automating this.
