Dear all,

Is this normal when i start the pidgin, the MoC player in the
background (no ncurses gui) started.
Htop show processes, the parent is the init.

Components:
Ubuntu 9.04 (Crunchbang Linux)
Pidgin 2.5.6 with lots of various plugins
Used protocols: facebookchat, msn, xmpp, xfire, icq
Musictracker 0.1.18
MoC 2.5.0 alpha3

Regards,

Xobor

If you have musictracker set to auto-detect, it will periodically run 'mocp
-Q' to see if moc is playing anything.

It seems this has the side-effect of starting a moc server process if one is
not already running. I don't know if there is any way to avoid this behaviour.

If this really bothers you and you don't use moc, you could either configure
musictracker for the specific player you do use, or uninstall moc :-)
