It is a little hard when a viewer comes in that speaks/writes in a different language than the streamer. The streamer then has to take their time to go to google and see if they can translate the chat. And most of the time it isn't something civil.

A word translator that would translate voice into a chosen language. The streamer could have the option of adding an extension to their stream that would allow a viewer to select a language to hear their voice and speaking in. Example: Streamer speaks Spanish, but the viewer only knows English. The viewer could click on the translate button to reveal a list of different languages to translate the streamers voice into. This way the viewer now can watch and listen but also understand the streamer.

Hello, it would be great to have a button in the chat that would allow you to switch the chat language how is it done in google chrome extension. And if I, for example, go to a streamer speaking in another language, and turn on this function, I will be able to see the messages in my own language or some selected language, and if I write a message in my own language, then my message will automatically be translated into the broadcast language. I have used this code- -sinha/google_translator/blob/master/text_to_speech_3.py for doing voice translation.It basically converts speech to text then translate that text and then it converts translated text back to the voice. I wanted to use this for videos running on my PC so I enabled stereo mix in my PC and it worked. Hello, I'm a school counselor in the U.S. I have two new students from Afghanistan who only speak Pashto. From what I've been told they also don't read or write in any language. Therefore, I need an app that translates English Voice to Pashto Voice and vice versa. All the android apps I've found so far only do text translation and do not have any voice available in Pashto.

We do have a live over-the-phone translator service, but that only works when I'm in my office and not when, for example, showing them around to their classes. Once I find an app I'd also like to share it with all the teachers and admins as well.

When i create a voice translator app using Taifun speech recogoizer and Google translate extension ( link provided by anke ) when i translate from Hindi to English it works correctly but

When i translate English to Hindi it doesn't translate instead it shows a result of : -12303292

This is crazy because when i say "my name is Vijay " it translates it to Hindi and show results = -12303292
